Subtle secret of life on a beautiful property. Went here for a Christmas family dinner and the accommodations are great and well within reason!

It may take a decent stretch of time before the aquatics are back in action, but the Fish & Wildlife commission will ensure there's something stalked in the area. Go here if you're from the area or driving past, it's a beautiful site to see.

The pavilion at Sweet Arrow Lake is a great place for holding family reunions, birthday parties, class reunions and company picnics. However you must supply your own food for an event or catered. But the view and trails provides for an entire day of enjoyment and fun for everyone. Don't forget your fishing rod.

Beautiful hidden gem! Nice trail, clean park, lots of goose poop in the area due to obvious reasons so watch your step. Summer time mosquitos are horrendous especially on the disc golf course further down stream. The informational nature signage located around, in and on the paths and walkways are a very nice touch.

This place is a sacred gem to me. I have over 20 years of memories of herping, going fishing, or sitting out and talking with friends. It was sold to the County Schuylkill for a pittance and drained so they could "Fix" the breast o the dam and make renovations. While it was drained during several attempts: the aquatic life was decimated, but they had a puff piece in the local Republican paper with one of the politicians walking on the muddy ground.

If you rent the hall/pavilion: be advised they may require to hire their security. Do not use them try to provide your own. When I saw the one they provided at a wedding and a family gathering picnic, he only sampled the food and slept in a corner.

On that note: they attempted to see if they could dredge it back in the early 00's. Spoiler alert: they could not because of the heavy metal content from years of old-world pesticides like mercury. Would advise against eating anything caught from there.

The place to be! Enjoy your own event, park events,or just go fishing! Beautiful.

That being said: the work and changes they've done are evident. It is a beautiful by-the-numbers county park. You can finally, after years of not being able to, walk along the falls and see across the lake. There's frisbee golf, long trails, and plenty of access on either side of the shores.
